Cowboy 6 Pack~ @Donna_Michaels #MySexySaturday

Welcome to week #18 of My Sexy Saturday!

It's sexy time again! Sit back and enjoy a blog hop where writers share seven sexy words, sentences or paragraphs from a published book or work in progress. You know the drill. Everyone has their idea of sexy. It can be a look, a touch and with clothes on or off. Each week, authors will bring you their idea of sexy with seven words, seven sentences or seven paragraphs. Let the sevens begin!

In honor of the Cowboy Six Pack Event taking place from 5pm-7:30pm CDT (where you can win Kindles and Gift Cards and books and more), I'm sharing a sexy scene from my book in the six pack: Her Fated Cowboy. This is a reunion story of one very ornery cowboy and his equally stubborn neighbor.

Here's 7 paragraphs from Her Fated Cowboy

As she sipped the bubbly, his gaze devoured her, making it difficult to swallow. She was a strong person, sometimes damn immovable. But not with this man. God, not with Cole. Excitement and anticipation hitched her breath and weakened her knees. The full force of his attraction was damn potent. She didn’t resist when he took the nearly full glass out of her hand and placed both flutes on the table.

“Dance with me?” he asked softly.

Unable to speak, she nodded and he pulled her gently into his arms. Quickly becoming her favorite place. Her eyes fluttered closed and she melted against him, reveling in his warm strength. This was right. This was Cole. His heart thundered under her chin and matched her hammering pulse. More alive than ever, her body buzzed with awareness, and for the first time since Eric’s death, she allowed her heart to feel another man.

For several minutes the two of them dwelled in a special, private place.

A short time later, Cole jarred her senses by doing the unthinkable—he stopped and drew back. Jordan nearly cried out in protest but when her eyes flew open she promptly forgot her objection—and how to breathe. Hunger darkened his eyes to coal.

“Jordan, things were all screwed up on your last visit. This time I want to do them the right way.” Voice husky, he lightly caressed the side of her face. “I’m going to kiss you now. I hope that’s okay?”

Okay? She swallowed past her dried throat, and acknowledged her mind, body, and heart where finally all in agreement.

“You bet it is, cowboy.” She lifted the Stetson off his head and tossed it on the chair behind him. “I’ve waited a lifetime for this kiss.”

Desire blazed in his eyes as he cupped her face with both hands and slowly lowered his head.  “So have I, Jordan.”

The Spy Who Fanged Me~ @Donna_Michaels #MySexySaturday

Welcome to week #17 of My Sexy Saturday!

Sexy time again!

I knew it's a few weeks early, but to get into the spirit of Halloween and all things paranormal, I'm sharing a sexy scene from Paranormal/Action/Comedy through Whimsical Publications: The Spy Who Fanged Me. This is the story of vampire secret agent, Pierce DeVein and his new shape-shifting partner, Kitty Katt.  Can they learn to get along long enough to discover what is happening to the world's gold supply?

I’m not going to look…I’m not going to look…I’ve got to look.

He turned and watched her swaying approach with a dry throat. The sashay of her hips whispered through his chest like the remembered pounding of his heart. Son-of-a… He did not need this connection or this complication. She set her bottle on the coffee table, then plopped onto his bed and rolled until she found the right spot. After a bit of kneading, she laid on her stomach, elbows in the mattress and chin in hands.

Pierce swallowed. Nothing so beautiful had ever graced his bed before. And probably never would again. A curtain of black silk fell over her chest and teased him with peeks of cleavage. Her long hair gleamed blue under the television’s glow and spiked a deep need in him to run his hands through the sleek, smooth strands.

He shifted his feet to relieve the tightness in his jeans and forced his gaze higher. Her arched brow reminded him she was waiting for a reply.

What in Methos’ name had she asked? Oh right, his house.

He cleared his throat. “I have two places. A cabin up north of here, and a loft in Miami.”

Both brows disappeared under her bangs. “A loft? Isn’t that location a bit dangerous given your allergy to daylight?”

Her Unbridled Cowboy~ @Donna_Michaels #MySexySaturday

Welcome to week #16 of My Sexy Saturday!

Sexy time again!

This week I'm sharing a sexy scene from Book Two in my Harland County Series: Her Unbridled Cowboy . This is Connor's story. A big cowboy with an even bigger heart who loves to tease, but needs to work on some trust issues.

Here's 7 paragraphs from Her Unbridled Cowboy:

“Do you think I was just duped?”

Moonlight filtered in through a small window on their right, illuminating his face enough for her to see his expression. Contemplative. He removed his hat, set it on the washer to her left then ran a hand through his hair.

“I’m not sure,” he said after several beats. “Jordan did appear sincere, but well, let’s face it. Your sister’s good.”

Kerri smacked her head back against the wall a few times, closed her eyes and groaned. “I know. That’s the problem.”

Smack. What if this was all a ruse to get her to stay in Texas? Smack.

“Hey.”

She reopened her eyes only to discover she had a bigger, sexier problem standing so close, she couldn’t think, couldn’t breathe, could only feel. The big, hot, sexually potent man crowded her space and she liked it. A lot. But he made her body consider things, want things, needy things she had no idea what to do about.

Smack.

Then the bugger stepped closer still, easing his hand between her head and the wall, being sweet again. Making her heart melt. His other large, strong hand settled ever so lightly on her hip.

“Easy there, darlin’.” His voice was soft and low, their gazes only inches apart in height thanks to her high heels. “It’s not worth hurting yourself over.”

Cowboy-Sexy ~ @Donna_Michaels #MySexySaturday

Welcome to week #15 of My Sexy Saturday!

It's that sexy time again when you get to sit back and enjoy a blog hop where writers share seven sexy words, sentences or paragraphs from a published book or work in progress. You know the drill. Everyone has their idea of sexy. It can be a look, a touch and with clothes on or off. Each week, authors will bring you their idea of sexy with seven words, seven sentences or seven paragraphs. Let the sevens begin!

This week I'm sharing a sexy scene from Cowboy-Sexy because there's just something about a former Navy SEAL cowboy who harbors a grudge against the Marine Corps, only to find himself engaged to a female Marine--thanks to a prank by his twin brother.

Here's 7 paragraphs from Cowboy-Sexy:

“What the hell are you doing in my room,” he demanded, wearing nothing but a towel.

Lucky towel.

Her suspicions had been correct. Cowboy-sexy had a great body. An incredible body. Dang. He was all muscles and ridges.

She’d seen his twin shirtless many times. Her whole unit had worked out together in the dessert gym they had set up to kill time between missions. Where Brett was broad and somewhat pumped, Finn was lean and hard, not just from a machine but by a working man’s routine.

Unable to stop herself, Cammie let her gaze travel over the towel and down his leg, noting purplish brown scars shooting up just above the towel near his right hip and jutting out below the towel to his right knee.

She recalled her C.O.’s stricken expression when he had gotten the call about his brother and an explosion in Baghdad.

“Well? I asked you what you’re doing in my room.”

Despite knowing cowboy-sexy was waiting for a reply, Cammie felt she owed it to the female population of the world to take another ten seconds and run her gaze back up his incredibly fit form.
